The Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie borough is enjoying growing popularity. The Angus Technopole project, a commercial/industrial mall, contributed greatly to its revitalization.

This largely residential area attracts families, students, and young professionals, and the abundance of green spaces has given it a reputation for tranquillity. It also has its share of attractions, however: The Botanical Garden and the Montreal Insectarium are by far the most well known. With its small shops and cafés, Masson Street (also known as Promenade Masson) has been a major thoroughfare from the start.

Another great place to shop for reasonably priced fashion is Plaza Saint-Hubert with its glass canopy – the only one of its kind in Canada. Don’t miss its popular end-of-season sidewalk sales. Then head over to St. Laurent Boulevard between Beaubien and Jean-Talon for an expresso in Little Italy.
